Leeds based Insurance Broker to expand into West Yorkshire
A Leeds Insurance broker has revealed plans to expand its Northern reach to West Yorkshire ushered on by their recent acquisition.
Schofield Insurance has been acquired by Ethos Partner Holdings Ltd, and is now planning to expand into West Yorkshire with support from their new partners.
Managing director Gary Holland noted of the acquisition: “The Ethos brand will provide us with the backing we require to move on to the next level and I’m excited to see our team unlock all the opportunities the move brings not only for our business, but more importantly for our clients.”
Schofield Insurance is currently celebrating both its 50th year in service, as well as its position as a founding member of the Broker Network, the UK’s longest established insurance network.
The Broker’s Leeds offices in Kirkstall Forge will remain open in addition to the new northern regional hub.
Richard Tuplin, Ethos Broking CEO, commented: “Schofield is a business we have long admired and I am incredibly excited to welcome them to the family today. Gary’s and Tom’s understanding of how powerful great customer service can be is absolutely aligned to the Ethos culture.
“Undoubtedly, great things are going to happen.”
The acquisition was overseen by a team of Yorkshire advisors under the direction of Clarion.
Speaking on the behalf of Clarion, Alex Cooper said: “We’re proud to support a long-established Yorkshire business like Schofield Insurance as it embarks on the next chapter in its development and wish it every success as part of Ethos Broking’s flourishing UK network.”
