Victoria Square hosts 'Park & Stride' drive-thru fashion show
Victoria Square, Northern Ireland’s leading leisure and retail destination positioned in the heart of Belfast, staged a fully sold out ‘drive-in’ fashion event, created by the Victoria Square marketing team, to showcase its array of fashion brands within the centre.
Ticket holders were treated to an hour-long fashion show within Victoria Square’s car park with 30 models showcasing 60 looks from the wide variety of fashion brands in the centre. The show was accompanied by live DJ’s and percussion performances, hosted by presenters of Northern Ireland’s biggest commercial radio station, Cool.
Tickets for the experiential event sold out within three hours and attendees received gifts including products from Starbucks, FitPink, Boux Avenue, Rituals and The Body Shop as well as a £10 gift card for the centre. Guests were also treated to Tony Macaroni pizzas, served directly to them in their cars during the interval, highlighting just one of Victoria Square’s popular food and beverage operators.
Commenting on the event, Russell Banham, UK Head at Commerz Real, said: “We really wanted to host a different experience for our visitors and highlight our extensive retail offering in an exciting way. This concept has highlighted the very best of Victoria Square’s retail offer. It shows how the centre is always striving to capture unique and special experiences for our visitors.”
He also added: “We always want to celebrate the great brands we have at our destination. It is exciting to create these opportunities for not only for our customers but for our brands to get involved on a more personal and individual level.”
This news follows the official opening of Craghoppers, in its debut stand-alone store within Northern Ireland.
Lambert Smith Hampton and Savills are joint agents for Victoria Square. Victoria Square is managed by the Lambert Smith Hampton’s Belfast office.
