London investment fund is hooked by “modern” seafood restaurant in acceleration plans
A London headquartered investment fund has announced it has invested in a “modern” seafood restaurant with plans to develop and advance in the UK market.
Pario Ventures based in Berkeley Square continues to increase its investment into the hospitality sector having invested in Simply Hooked which opened in London this year.
Simply Hooked’s modern take on seafood is fresh healthy and supremely tasty. The company already has operations in Belgium and is looking to launch more franchises shortly.
The founders who include Noel Linehan have over 40 years collectively and have owned bars and restaurants across Belgium, New York, Ireland, and London.
With strong growth and M&A plans they are targeting to have six Simply Hooked sites added as well as the acquisition of several bars.
Kevin Doyle co-founder of Pario Ventures, said: “ I have known the founders for some time after originally supporting them on the original Simply Hooked.
“Their breadth of experience in this sector is second to none and supporting them for further growth makes perfect sense for us as a business.
“The experienced entrepreneurial management team behind Simply Hooked has a proven track record for exit and I believe they are ready to scale this business.
David Murray-Hundley co-Founder of Pario Ventures, commented: “ I am seeing some great technology coming into this sector, for the most part, accelerated by events of 2020.
“There is also a great opportunity to help and support existing businesses. I expect that our Hospitality portfolio will also look to grow with pubs and hotels, as well as the technology element and great brands.”
