Newcastle based insight and engagement agency relocates to larger offices following “unprecedented” growth
A Newcastle based insight and engagement agency is relocating to larger city centre premises as a result of unprecedented growth in the last 20 months.
Explain Market Research (Explain) provides insights to inform strategic decision-making to a range of organisations across the UK and has chosen The Core at Helix in Newcastle’s city centre to support their team.
Kim Davis, managing partner, said: “We consulted with our team and one thing that was clear coming out of the pandemic was the want for a return to the ‘office’ in some form.
“We have grown the team over the last 20 months and had outgrown our current office. Having listened to the team, we knew we must find an inspiring space for us to all collectively work, and The Core stood out to us.
“Not only the building itself, the space we will have and the location – but also its values and purpose and working in a collaborative environment with other growing, like-minded businesses is a really exciting development for us in this next chapter of our growth.”
Following a successful MBO in 2019, Explain has experienced rapid growth. The company has continued to grow revenue and net profitability which has led to investment in new solutions and its team over the last two years.
The agency has won new clients including the Ministry of Defence, National Savings and Investments and a large-scale contract with the four UK Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs.)
Amelia Findlay, centre manager, said: “We are delighted to welcome Explain to The Core. We know they will be a great cultural fit and certainly fit the themes of the wider Newcastle Helix site as a growing, sustainability focused North East business. We look forward to getting to know the team more over the coming months.”
