Encore Reveals Plans to Expand Professional Division

One of the UK’s leading warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, driving, engineering and managed services recruitment agencies - which places more than 4,000 workers each week has announced ambitious plans to expand its Professional division, which specialises in senior hires.

Encore Personnel - which operates ten branches and twenty-two sites across the UK and employs more than 200 staff, has relaunched Encore Professional, with a new website and new team, headed by seasoned recruitment pro Nick Green.

Nick, who has worked in recruitment for more than 25 years in various roles from business owner to consultant at both boutique and large agencies, joined Encore because he saw a ‘sparkling opportunity’ to develop the Professional arm of the business. He plans to double the size of his team in 12 months and build a core base of 50 customers.

He said: “Encore is so well known for doing an excellent job for its customers and candidates alike and so I knew that being able to build on this established reputation would make growing the Professional division an enjoyable challenge from the word go.

“Professional services are constantly evolving, which means our offering and approach must constantly evolve too. It is sad to see so much ‘contingency recruitment’ happening in our sector, because the success rate and customer commitment is so low with this approach. Quality is being replaced by speed.

“The plan with Encore Professional is to focus entirely on building strong and lasting relationships with our customers, based on trust and mutual respect. Our ideal new customers are established SMEs, anywhere in the UK, who want to recruit top class senior hires through an agency they can rely on no matter the brief.”

Nick and his team are offering free one-to-one consultations for new customers, dubbed ‘recruitment health checks’ for those businesses looking for a new recruitment partner. This involves a visit or video meeting with an Encore Professional consultant who will talk through the history of the business, its goals and aspirations and its key requirements and a full review of how the business currently recruits in order to highlight improvements, all wrapped up in a set of recommendations and action plan.

Managing Director at Encore Personnel, Pete Taylor, added: “We are thrilled to have Nick on board – he is one of the most passionate and talented recruitment experts operating in our sector and he knows exactly how to match the right candidate with the right senior role.

“The ethos of our Professional division is simple – we’re considered, consultative and coordinated in all that we do with the sole aim of sourcing, attracting and recruiting the right people for our customers. We invest our own time in getting to know a business before we start matching people with roles, because we know that this is how we deliver long lasting candidate-client relationships. Given the growing skills shortage crisis in the UK, now is certainly the time to be investing in all arms of our business and a focus on Professional with a new website and refreshed team structure means we’re leading the way.”

Encore prides itself on its exceptional client and candidate service. It puts the customer and candidate/ employee experience at the centre of all strategy with dual value propositions of ‘your business, your culture, our priority’ and ‘your future, your wellbeing, our priority.’ It places its success on following its key values including avoiding negativity, creating loyalty and communicating with a refreshing openness.
