Blinded by awards! Caribbean Blinds shortlisted for three more

After a hugely successful awards season so far, external shading experts Caribbean Blinds have just found out they have been shortlisted for another three – in this year’s Suffolk Business Awards and The Build It Awards.

Having been shortlisted for both ‘SME of the Year’ and ‘Scale Up Business of the Year’ at the Suffolk Business Awards 2021, the company’s incredible growth and progress over the last 12 months has been a huge boost to this dynamic team.

Open to all types and sizes of businesses across the region, The Suffolk Business Awards bring the county’s business community together to celebrate each other’s achievements and highlight the leaders in each industry. Finalists will be announced on 27th October and the winners will be crowned during the ceremony on 18th November 2021.

In addition to this, one of Caribbean Blinds’ most popular product lines (the Antiguan External Blind) has been shortlisted for the ‘Innovation in Insulation’ Award at the 2021 Build It Awards.

The Build It Awards (in association with BuildStore) are the most sought-after accolade within the self-build industry and recognise excellence across the board in self-build products, services, suppliers and projects. All Build It winners will be announced at a special awards dinner on 26th November.

Stuart Dantzic, Managing Director at Caribbean Blinds commented: “We have been blown away by the success we have had over the last year with a raft of award nominations and wins, and this recognition validates the hard work that the whole team puts in with no exception.

“We all work tirelessly to deliver exceptional quality shading systems, and whether specifying, making or installing, everyone plays a vital role in the success of the company. To be rewarded and recognised for this makes it all worthwhile – we are now keeping our fingers crossed for the finals!”

So far this year, Caribbean Blinds has achieved a double award shortlisting at the Growing Business Awards 2021 (‘Consumer Business of the Year’ and ‘Family-Owned Business of the Year’), where judges were looking for evidence of increased market penetration, consistent profitable growth, a positive impact on the industry and a competitive edge. The team is excited to be attending the award ceremony on 24th November at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. And if this wasn’t enough, Caribbean Blinds has won at the national Real Homes Awards (for the second year running) in ‘The Great Outdoors’ category with their hugely popular Cuba Awning product being crowned ‘The Best of the Best’ against stiff competition.
