Laseraid announces UK’s first multi-brand aesthetic laser showroom, training academy and service centre

The UK’s first ‘one stop shop’ for the growing market in aesthetic laser provision has announced a £250,000 investment into a showroom, training academy and service centre in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

The investment, that follows a multi-million pound fundraise and the acquisition of a local business in the summer, will see the business relocate its head office to the site at Capital Business Park, 15 miles north of London.

“This investment is an important step in bringing the new services to market for the UK’s clinics and aesthetic treatment industry. State-of-the-art, premium branded aesthetic laser equipment can be the single biggest investment a clinic owner makes when launching their business, and, until now, they haven’t been able to get a range of equipment and services offered by one provider, including an all-inclusive subscription model or sales options, as well as training and dependable servicing. This is exactly what we are aiming to deliver at the new showroom, training facility and service centre,” said Laseraid UK CEO Tom Acland.

In recent years, the use of lasers by clinics, doctors and dermatology specialists has boomed as technology has become available to assist with a wide range of treatments including laser hair removal, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, fat freezing, body contouring and facial treatments.

The new 1,600 sq ft Laseraid HQ will include up to ten demonstrator devices from a range of manufacturers that can be viewed and tested by potential customers. In addition, the facility offers a dedicated service area with fully-trained engineers, offices for the growing Laseraid head office team, and a state-of-the-art training area for realistic customer training courses and demonstrations.

With over 47,000 aesthetic laser treatment premises in the UK, the market is expected to be worth approximately £524m by 2022. This growth, coupled with the success of Laseraid’s established Australian operation, led to the launch of Laseraid UK under the leadership of Acland and a team of blue chip investors in the summer.

Commercial director Jamel Hussain, who joined Laseraid after selling his business, One Light Lasers, to Laseraid UK, added: “As the industry matures and we see the want and need for high end specialist aesthetic devices grow, we are determined to continue to build a strong business based around quality devices and honest customer service. Our new headquarters will lead the way in doing so – for the first time a clinic owner, or aspiring clinic owner, can visit a single location with multiple devices from the world’s leading brands.

“We’re determined to bring down the barriers of operating premium laser equipment, while also raising the bar internationally for service and support to clinic owners who already own machines.”

The new Laseraid training and service centre is open seven days a week by appointment, and demonstrations, training and service enquiries can be made at hello@laseraid.co.uk.
