Alex Hoban, Momentum Worldwide

Experiential advertising agency Momentum Worldwide has appointed Alex Hoban as its first UK creative innovation director.

The appointment comes as demand for hybrid experiences has increased across all sectors. Hoban is charged with further expanding Momentum’s reputation for ‘tapping cultural trends to create innovative and immersive experiences’ across the agency’s accounts, which includes Microsoft, American Express and Samsung.

He will report into Momentum’s UK ECD, Kev Exley, collaborating closely with the creative leadership team, along with UK director of creative technology & innovation, Tai Smith.

Prior to joining Momentum Worldwide, Hoban founded Aeon Industries and held positions at agencies such as the Brooklyn Brothers, 72&sunny and R/GA, where he worked with clients such as Jaguar, Uber and Nike.

Hoban starts with immediate effect.

Thomas Dainty, Craig Tonkin, Bective

London estate agent Bective Leslie Marsh has recruited Thomas Dainty as head of lettings and property management and Craig Tonkin as head of sales.

Thomas and Craig have held senior positions at Foxtons, Dexters and Marsh and Parsons.

Thomas said:“Our pedigree as London’s original estate agent to the discerning stands us in good stead for the journey ahead. Former owner Christo Headfort, Earl of Bective, was the first to secure a million-pound Chelsea house deal in the mid-1980s and was the original Prime London Agent.

’Our plan now that we have invested substantial sums in our people and our branding, is to grow the Bective business across our six locations and beyond and with lifestyle in mind as well as relationships, not just transactions.“

Stephen Wilson, Steve Chambers, Space Station

Stephen Wilson has joined the team as portfolio development manager and Steve Chambers has been appointed as IT engineer.

Wilson joins to aid the company’s expansion plans, bringing new Space Station stores to market across the country.

As well as sourcing new stores, he will be actively engaged in developing the significant number of opportunities that are already in the pipeline. From developing offices across South Africa, Kenya and Russia, Wilson brings a wealth of global experience and is excited to be working at this rapidly growing company.

Chamber’s background in retail and property management brings him to Space Station to improve technology and business processes. Steve is a Business Analyst and IT professional with a passion for helping people, and the goal of evolving Space Station to be one of the best in its sector.

Theadora Alexander, Avi Moor, GS1

Co-founder of Young Foodies Theadora Alexander and the founder and managing director of Distinctive, Avi Moor, join the supervisory board of GS1 UK, the independent, not for profit, membership organisation that supports a community of over 56,000 businesses.

Theadora Alexander co-created Young Foodies in 2017, with the aim of providing expert knowledge, practical experience and growth services to support SMEs.

Prior to this, Thea was the operations and strategy director at snack maker Propercorn. She is a leading commentator in the FMCG industry and an active champion for challenger brands.

Avi Moor founded a B2B grocery distribution business Distinctive in 2018 with the aim of making differentiated products available in more UK supermarkets.

Previously, Avi held a variety of senior commercial roles at Sainsbury’s spanning more than 10 years, including leading the Sainsbury’s Bakery business and New Business Development. He has also worked for IBM Consulting Services and Tefen Management Consulting, specialising in supply chain and operations strategy.

Young Foodies and Distinctive join a supervisory board comprising some of the biggest names in the retail and healthcare industries including eBay, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Amazon, Unilever and NHS supply chain all of whom provide governance and support in the delivery of GS1 UK’s strategy.
