Israeli CBD company launches first UK store in Westfield London
On November 4 a biomedical CBD company is launching its first UK retail venue in Westfield London in White City.
Cannabotech was established in 2019, following a successful £10m investment round in Israel. It aims to reach £100m in global sales in the next five years.
Cannabotech’s team of scientists and academics chose to launch in the UK, identifying it as the fastest growing CBD market in Europe and second in the world after the US.
Elchanan Shaked, Cannabotech’s CEO and chairman commented: “We are a biomedical preventative care company that provides solutions based on science, technology and personalisation.
“The UK was a natural choice for us given that it’s the largest & fastest growing CBD market in Europe, and has both a well established e-comm market and regulated regulation.
“We’re confident that we’re bringing something unique to the UK - our advanced products, technologies and services offer people personalised preventative health solutions.”
Dr Basem Fares, head of R&D at Cannabotech commented: “We’re excited to introduce UK consumers to our unique preventative health care products, which combine the power of nature with years of advanced science.
“Our M²CBD formula is used across our complete range of topicals, tinctures and capsules, which, as part of our holistic approach to preventative health, have all been designed to complement each other, to provide a positive impact both inside and out.”
