Sloane Stanley welcomes Nakanojo, to the Kings Road

Sloane Stanley has announced the opening of Nakanojo, the debut Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant by first-time restauranteur Josh Ahmet, at 356-360 Kings Road.

Joining the dining offer in the heart of Chelsea, Nakanojo’s 4,512 sq ft new restaurant offers casual premium dining and Latin American vibes, serving Nikkei sushi and Japanese robata grill dishes with a Peruvian twist. The exciting menu has an emphasis on fresh ingredients and fun cocktails all delivered in a casual yet inviting setting for us to 90 covers.

Nakanojo has been designed and created inhouse by Josh Ahmet himself. The traditional and modern theme uses Wood throughout in the form of seating, tables, screens and planters to divide diners. Complimentary planting and a custom-designed Peruvian Geisha mural across one wall form a central focus for the restaurant.

Commenting on the news, Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley said: “Nakanojo’s debut dining concept signifies the rejuvenation of the hospitality sector post-pandemic and correspondingly, the strength of our F&B offering. With renewed consumer interest in localism as well as experiential retail and dining, it is a great opportunity for unique operators like Nakanojo to make their debut, and we feel confident the new concept will feel at home alongside so many other dynamic operators on the King’s Road.”

Josh Ahmet, Founder and CEO of Nakanojo added: “Our venue brings something different to the prestigious King’s Road, being the first Nikkei Restaurant in Chelsea offering a unique blend of two cultures which fit seamlessly together. At Nakanojo, we pride ourselves on serving authentic, quality food in a relaxed atmosphere and Chelsea’s stylish, easy-going atmosphere makes the King’s Road an ideal location for launching our new concept.”

This news follows the recent launch of wine specialist and restaurant 28º–50º at 300 King’s Road, in addition to the opening of a new three-floored indulgent brand ‘Townhouse’ from the luxury pet and grooming brand, Love My Human. Each of these brands adds to the estate’s growing experiential leisure, dining and retail portfolio, which continues to go from strength to strength.

Davis Coffer Lyons represented Sloane Stanley. James Commercial acted on behalf of Nakanojo.
