RWinvest and Legacie Developments announce the revival of contemporary residential scheme in Luton
RWinvest and Legacie Developments have today announced that they will restart work on ‘The Hive’ residential development in Luton.
International property sales agent, RWinvest, is partnering with the North West-based Legacie Developments on the contemporary 67-unit apartment scheme and have revealed a new vision for the site. It follows the collapse of the company originally behind the scheme.
It is the first major residential project that the companies, who have previously partnered on a number of major development projects in London and the North West, have delivered a scheme in Bedfordshire.
“We are incredibly excited to announce that we have restarted work in The Hive and will work with our partners, Legacie Developments, to deliver a scheme that brings modern, affordable living to Luton,” said Michael Gledhill, Director at RWinvest.
“The development will include 67 one and two-bedroom luxury apartments which will come with a range of exciting and modern amenities including private terraces, car parking and a 24-hour concierge. It will be a community in its own right and is in the perfect location for fast access to London from Luton Parkway Station.
There is already huge interest from buyers.
“We have successfully delivered on a number of other residential projects with Legacie Developments and are confident of delivering a quality scheme here that Luton can be proof of. It will enhance ongoing regeneration efforts in the town and we are proud to be part of that.”
Work on the 11 storey building is now underway and is expected to be complete by spring 2023. Prices for the one and two-bedroom apartments start at £179,950.
RWinvest is an award-winning international property sales agent and works in partnership with Legacie Developments, which is headquartered in Liverpool, on commercial and residential development projects across the UK.
