Car rental firm expands outlets and available cars
Pulman Group have launched its fourth rental office in Sunderland offering Volkswagen, SKODA and newly added SEAT rentals.
Just over two years ago, Pulman Group welcomed the VWFS (Volkswagen Financial Services) Rent-a-Car service to their Volkswagen dealership in Durham.
Since then, the rental brand has continued to grow within the Group, opening in Pulman SKODA Durham in July 2020, then up North to Pulman SKODA Cramlington in April 2021, both of which successfully opened during the pandemic.
Now Pulman Group welcomes their fourth site which comes after greater investment and the further expansion of the Newcastle Road site. VWFS Rent-a-Car Sunderland will offer Volkswagen, SKODA and SEAT rentals.
Shahkiel Akbar, Rental Manager at Pulman Group said: “I’m very proud of what me and my team have achieved in such a short space of time. We’ve launched three successful rental offices across the Group during COVID-19 and have now just opened our fourth in the Sunderland area of the North East.”
“The introduction of SEAT models added to the already large rental fleet we offer is fantastic and an exciting opportunity. We’re currently only one of three dealerships across the UK to offer SEAT rentals.
“I’m really looking forward to helping customers with their rental requirements across Sunderland whether that be for a short weekend break, or over a longer term to help with local business needs.”
The SEAT models available for rental include the SEAT Ibiza, Leon and Altea. In total there are 12 SEAT models to hire from Pulman Group which takes the total rental fleet to 85.
The new Rent-a-Car office will be based at Pulman Volkswagen and SKODA Sunderland on Newcastle Road just next to the Fulwell Mill.
