Leep Utilities Makes Two Senior Appointments
Last mile multi-utility network owner and operator, Leep Utilities, has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new heads of department, Tim Douglas as Head of Project Delivery and Stephen Dean as Head of IT.
Tim Douglas will be involved with the Sales team, looking for new opportunities and discussing with the Asset Management team surrounding the successful completion and handover of projects. Previously, Tim spent 13 years at SSE Contracting as a HV Contracts Manager looking after the Primary & Grid Substation framework.
Responsible for the management of IT and Systems throughout the organisation, Stephen Dean will oversee the IT team, reviewing security and disaster recovery plans, with the ultimate goal of providing a future vision for IT at Leep.
Stephen’s previous experience includes working as Group IT & Change Director for BES Group.
Leep Utilities has seen significant growth particularly in the second half of 2020. The adoption of water networks is a key growth market for the business. Following the acquisition of SSE’s water and wastewater networks in May 2019, Leep adopted multiple water schemes across the UK.
