Leeds signage company announces several major completions across the city

A 133-year-old signage business headquartered in Leeds is has announced a number of major project completions in the city.

Sign and branding specialist Widd Signs has completed work to manufacture and install signage at a number of new residential developments across the city, including Mustard Wharf on the South Bank and The Headline which is located on the historic site of the former Yorkshire Post building.

For both schemes, Widd Signs manufactured and installed hundreds of striking external and internal signage, based on designs created by wayfinding and brand consultancy f.r.a. This included external and internal wayfinding, as well as room numbering and branding, with an array of high-quality materials used including brass and corian.

The firm has also secured five new contract wins including a five-figure deal with Chelsea Football Club. It was also involved in the recent transformation of office building 1 City Square in Leeds, installing a range of external and internal signage as part of a £7.5m remodelling and refurbishment programme.

Located at Wharf Approach, overlooking the Leeds Liverpool Canal, Mustard Wharf offers a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with an on-site gym, and two clubhouses with private dining rooms.

The Headline, located on Wellington Street, is the latest project from the UK’s largest listed residential landlord, Grainger plc – its first build-to-rent development in Leeds, featuring 242 new homes.
