Love Not Landfill Selects Angel Central for Exclusive Pop-Up

CBRE Investment Management welcomes an exclusive ’Love Not Landfill pop-up store at Angel Central from 11-14 November. A sustainable fashion campaign run by a not for profit, Love Not Landfill, encourages young fashion lovers to fight climate change by re-wearing, repairing, and sharing clothes.

Sponsored by Vanish and Oxwash, the 2,140 sq ft pop-up, located on the upper level next to Wagamama, features the following fund-raising fashion-forward collections from charity shops, curated by style-savvy influencers:

  • Cancer Research UK collection x Shannon Alexandra

  • Crisis collection x Ismail Stewart

  • Oxfam collection x Nova Twins

  • Royal Trinity Hospice collection x The Monica Way

  • Love Not Landfill x Jake Edwards from clothes donated to Love Not Landfill’s exclusive Bambi-designed clothes banks

Each influencer has worked with their partner charity, for a collection of up to 500 pieces from donations. These are being sold at the Angel Central pop-up, with all profits going straight to the charities. The store celebrates gender-neutral ‘clothes for everyone’ and will be a space for visitors to find out more about eco-fashion and the climate emergency with noticeboards, knowledgeable staff, and a workshop on Sunday highlighting how to make your clothes last longer.

Olivia Shaw, from the Love Not Landfill campaign, commented on the pop-up: “We wanted a shop in a highly visible and central location in London, to be able to showcase our influencer collaborations and it has been great to collaborate with Angel Central and become part of the community, if only for a limited time. We look forward to welcoming lots of visitors and sharing our passion for pre-loved fashion.”

Asset Manager at CBRE Investment Management, Ciara Daffy added: “Love Not Landfill is a great charity and one we were particularly keen to support, as sustainability is a core consideration for Angel Central in everything we do. The collaborative, educational and interactive elements are particularly exciting.”
