Leeds contractor appointed for 31,000 sq ft Essex development
A London real estate investoment firm has appointed Leeds-based JW-G Construction as the main contractor on a 28-week programme in Essex.
Compagnie du Parc is a private real estate investment firm that is focused on building a Greater London industrial portfolio.
The development occupies 31,000 sq ft on the Ensign Estate, Purfleet, Essex.
The groups main business is in industrial and logistical space within urban locations and through €2bn of transactions and aggregates more than 30 years of investment development and management experience across France, Switzerland, US and UK.
JW-G Construction, managing director John White said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with a well-established firm for this exciting development.
“It is a great location for this type of industrial development with its excellent transport links, close to major UK freight terminals and the M25. It offers first class road communications to serve Greater London and the wider Southeast area.”
The project team includes Dovetail Architects Ltd and Ipswich-based civil and structural design engineers Haydn Evans.
