New phase launched for 88 new Help to Buy apartments in South East London
A London housing provider has launched a new phase of 88 apartments through Help to Buy at the Southmere development in Thamesmead.
Through London Help to Buy, housing provider, Peabody is helping to make the area more accessible, with purchasers having the option to get on to the property ladder through the scheme.
The collection of properties consists of one, two and three bedroom apartments.
Lisa Crush, director of sales & marketing at Peabody commented: “Southmere is undoubtedly one of London’s most exciting developments.
“An early phase in the 30-year regeneration of the area, residents will see first-hand the revitalisation and transformation of Thamesmead into the thriving neighbourhood its original master-planners intended it to become.
“After extraordinary demand for our first launch of homes at Southmere, we have had similar demand for this new phase of apartments. There are few more affordable homes in the capital, in an area brimming with such excitement and promise.”
Southmere is connected to the city, with the nearby Abbey Wood Overground station making London Bridge accessible in only 22 minutes, Bond Street in 25 minutes and Waterloo in 35 minutes.
For those travelling slightly further afield, London City Airport is accessible in just 30 minutes. Residents will also have access to cycle storage, and parking spaces and permits are also available.
