Liverpool ONE signs Bershka for regional debut
Grosvenor Britain & Ireland (GBI) has announced that Bershka, the leading international fashion label from Inditex, has selected Liverpool ONE for its regional debut. The 8,000 sq ft flagship is set to open early next year and will enhance Liverpool ONE’s already extensive international fashion offering.
Located on upper South John Street, the new store will offer Bershka’s extensive menswear and womenswear collections, as well as exclusive ranges such as Bershka X Nirvana and Bershka X League of Legends. Berskha is the third Inditex brand to create a flagship presence at Liverpool ONE, joining Zara and Pull & Bear, both of whom are also on South John Street. Together, the brands occupy over 45,000 sq ft of space.
Alison Clegg, Managing Director, Asset Management, Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, commented: “Bershka selecting Liverpool ONE for their regional debut further demonstrates the destination’s appeal to globally renowned brands wanting to extend their reach around the UK. Along with Zara and Pull&Bear, trend-setting Bershka create a very fashion-forward offer on South John Street, with a critical mass of great brands that stands out nationally.”
Bershka is the 36th brand to sign, open or renew at Liverpool ONE this year, joining OMEGA, Tessuti, New Look, Castore, Hamleys, Dr Martens, Skechers, Kenji, Claredon Fine Art, Thérapie Clinic, Escape Live, Bean Coffee, Mamasan, Maggie Fu and Gordan Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen. Totalling almost 270,000 sq ft of new or enhanced space, Liverpool ONE’s evolving offer has been highly successful in attracting returning visitors from across the region, with sales in Q3 14.4% ahead of the same period in 2019, significantly ahead of the UK average of 6.7%.
Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE. Bershka dealt direct.
