Refresh grows tech roster with Distology appointment
Manchester based PR and comms agency, Refresh, has been appointed by Distology to boost brand awareness and support growth plans.
The Stockport based IT security distributor selected Refresh following a competitive pitch, thanks to the agency’s approach, strong industry connections and expertise in the tech sector.
Distology was founded in 2014 and specialises in identifying, representing and distributing the latest disruptive technology in the cyber security arena in the UK and Benelux regions.
Earlier this year, Distology received PE investment to further fuel its ambitious growth plans and is well on its way to successfully scaling - growing the team 150% over the past year, while increasing revenue by over 75% in the past three years.
Lucy Moore, associate director and tech team lead at Refresh, said: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen by Distology to lead its PR activity during such a significant time for the business.
“Distology’s work and approach has led to it becoming a multi-award-winning business, representing some of the most exciting technologies in the cyber security realm. Plus, the team has a real passion for increasing diversity in the tech industry, so we’re really excited to help them build brand awareness, whilst spreading the word of the amazing work they do to encourage diversity in the industry.”
Distology’s CEO, Hayley Roberts, added: “The growth of our business is continuing to accelerate and we’re really excited to be collaborating with Refresh on a PR strategy which will aid us in achieving our long-term goals.”
