Housebuilder kits out Dorset school football players
Bournemouth school football players can kick off their games in style this season, thanks to Barratt Homes.
Bearwood Primary School proudly sported their brand new kit, featuring the Barratt Homes logo, as they return to playing more sports.
Barratt Homes, which is bringing new homes to its Quarter Jack Park development in Poole, heard about the school’s plight to cover the costs of the kit, so that their new football team could get back to enjoying the sport once again after the pandemic called a long-term holt to all activities.
And, the housebuilder wanted to ensure pupils at the primary school could kick off their football matches with a kit to be proud of.
The Bearwood school welcomes the developer’s backing and is happy to see its schoolchildren out on the playing field with their peers again.
Kate Webster, Bearwood Primary School’s PE Leader, said: “Over the last 18 months our children haven’t been able to enjoy playing a game of football with their friends as they normally would. It’s wonderful to see them taking part in this great team activity again.
“With Barratt Homes’ support, all of our young players will be showing off a brand-new kit every time they get out on the field. I know they’ll be wearing it with pride.”
Tammy Bishop, Sales Director for Barratt Homes Southampton division, said: “We are committed to providing support to organisations in the communities where we are building new homes, and we are delighted to be able to sponsor Bearwood Primary School’s football kit.
“Keeping active is so important for school kids, and I can’t wait to hear what they all think of their new outfits.”
