Blinds by Post backs the Bantams
Shipley-based online blinds retailer Blinds by Post is celebrating its partnership with Bradford City AFC with the launch of a range of exclusive Bantams branded roller blinds.
Just in time for the festive period, the limited edition blinds will feature the Bradford City AFC logo and will be available to purchase on the Blinds by Post website. Blinds by Post will be the first retailer to sell official club merchandise outside of Bradford City’s official retail operation.
The partnership agreement, which commenced at the beginning of the 2020/2021 football season, saw Blinds by Post become one of the club’s principal partners and receive branding around the stadium and inside the matchday programme. The blinds retailer also worked on the brand new players’ tunnel which was installed at the Utilita Energy Stadium in 2020.
Oliver Hudson, director at Blinds by Post, commented: “As a Yorkshire-based business, we’re proud to not only sponsor our local football team, but to celebrate our partnership with the launch of our limited edition roller blinds. There are many passionate fans of the club across the city and beyond, and we can’t wait to see how our blinds are received.”
Founded in 2008, Blinds by Post is a family-run business that operates out of its factory in Shipley where every blind is hand-crafted to completion. The retailer hopes that the sponsorship of the football club will contribute towards investment and growth in the Bradford district.
Davide Longo, commercial director of Bradford City AFC, added: “We are extremely proud of our partnership with Blinds by Post, as with each of the companies in our expanding commercial portfolio, and are pleased to see the launch of these personalised blinds. We are proud of our heritage, and maintaining positive relationships with local businesses is a key area of the work we do away from the field.
“We are looking forward to seeing this partnership continue to grow, and of course can’t wait to see the blinds being put up in homes across Bradford and beyond.”
