Barnsley community comes together at local home builder’s Christmas event

This month saw members of the local community in Royston come together to kick off the festive season in style at Barratt Homes’ Notton Wood View development in Barnsley.

On Wednesday the 8th of December, Barratt Homes welcomed the local Barnsley community, prospective buyers and existing residents to its Notton Wood View development to enjoy a Christmas tree lights switch-on, accompanied by complimentary festive treats and drinks.

Over 200 locals attended the Christmas event to get into the holiday spirit for the upcoming festive season, where the home builder also handed out ‘magic keys’ to help Santa deliver some festive cheer to children whose homes don’t have a chimney.

Prospective buyers in attendance were also given the opportunity to visit the show homes at Notton Wood View, which were dressed ready for Christmas.

On the Christmas event at Notton Wood View, Sam Wood, Sales Director at Barratt Homes Yorkshire West said: “We were delighted to see so many locals attend our magical Christmas event at Notton Wood View. We hope that this event got everyone into the Christmas spirit with some festive fun and that prospective home buyers were able to get an idea of life at Notton Wood View.

“We look forward to hosting more events and activities at our development in the future, and working closely with the local community on and around Notton Wood View whilst continuing to build local homes, for the people of Barnsley.”

Notton Wood View is a stunning development of three and four bedroom homes set in the village of Royston and surrounded by open countryside. The development boasts great transport links and a range of local amenities, with fantastic deals and schemes available such as Part Exchange and deposit boosts to help prospective buyers purchase their new home. Homes are available to purchase from £229,995.
