“MootUp OnDemand” launches for instant Metaverse events

MootUp, the 3D virtual and hybrid events solution for the metaverse, has launched a new on-demand service for businesses planning to host 3D online virtual events. MootUp OnDemand allows organizations to create a persistent 3D virtual world that can be accessed at any time to host events and meetings, ranging from conferences to social gatherings, product launches and more. By signing up to MootUp OnDemand, businesses can instantly access and create their own corporate metaverse. The metaverse is “always on” and can expand and grow along with your community.

MootUp was founded in June 2020 by Danny Stefanic, creator of the original web metaverse. Unlike other platforms which require users to download software or require VR headsets, MootUp runs on any browser and any device with no downloads or installations. All online events can be accessed via a web link, meaning that anyone can access the 3D virtual environments in a matter of seconds using their own unique avatar.

Danny is a global pioneer in the Metaverse for Business, having created the world’s first metaverse in 2000. He has been involved in the creation of ground-breaking 3D businesses for over 27 years.

MootUp OnDemand gives businesses access to an authoring tool which leverages the latest metaverse technology, including “audience multiverse” technology to scale to thousands of participants. Businesses can create immersive environments to facilitate shared experiences, with MootUp offering the option for avatars, real time conversations, presentations and gamification that encourage active audience participation.

MootUp is powered by the soon to be launched Hyperspace Metaverse Platform. Hyperspace is a 3D Engine, the first native web 3.0 Metaverse for Business platform. It offers a suite of customizable tools, which includes Learnbrite - a platform that allows the creation of 3D simulations, experiences, learning modules, micro-learning and instructor-led training, and Universal Avatars - a service offering globally unique WebXR avatars for use on the internet. Hyperspace is scheduled for an initial beta launch in late January 2022, with the final launch scheduled for February.

Danny Stefanic, Founder and CEO of MootUp and Hyperspace, said: “We are very excited to announce the launch of MootUp’s OnDemand service. It means that all businesses can truly take advantage of the metaverse regardless of where they are in the world. Our mission is to offer what I call the true metaverse experience - rather than limiting the metaverse to companies with access to VR headsets and powerful devices, MootUp is open and accessible to all businesses. This is the first in a series of announcements we will be making over the coming months.

“Since Facebook’s rebranding to Meta, public interest surrounding the metaverse has peaked. Importantly, its true advantages are set to come from its application in enterprises. The metaverse is able to cater to our new way of working, providing online and immersive environments to overcome the challenges linked to remote working and flexible arrangements. MootUp is just one example of this, with the soon to be launched Hyperspace offering organizations across all sectors will have a hub where they can receive and implement a tailored metaverse transformation strategy.

“Put simply, all businesses need to be exploring how they can be using the metaverse to their advantage. The sector is moving at pace, and there is a risk of being outpaced by both competition and shifting market demands. MootUp is one way businesses can use metaverse technology to run online, interactive 3D events.”
