New Recruits Join Leading Commercial Property Consultancy

Two new professionals have been appointed at Lutterworth-based Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, Wells McFarlane.

Chrissy Feenan, an Associate RICS, joins as Commercial Asset Manager, while Beata Gostynska joins the Management Accountant team. Working alongside Directors, Andrew McFarlane Holt and Jason Hercock, Chrissy will oversee management of the firm’s commercial properties.

“My background is residential lettings but after spending 15 years working in this sector, I decided it was time to challenge myself with something new and I retrained as a Surveyor, becoming an Associate last year,” said Chrissy. “When I saw the vacancy at Wells McFarlane, I was excited to apply as the firm has such a diverse portfolio I knew it would provide the variety and interaction I was seeking. Happily, I was right and I’m enjoying getting to know my new colleagues and clients.”

Beata (Bea) will support Head of Accounts, Abigail Wood by managing the portfolio of landlord and tenant accounts. Bea said: “I’ve always found commercial property to be an interesting industry as no two days are the same; my work involves dealing with independent landlords, limited companies and partnerships with everything from individual properties to entire business parks. I’m also in the middle of studying for my Accountancy (AAT) qualifications and being able to learn from Abi is a huge benefit.”

Bea and Chrissy’s appointments follow a sustained period of growth for Wells McFarlane and the firm is still recruiting. Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt commented: “Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the appetite for high-quality, easily accessible and well-appointed commercial property remains and we quickly realised a need to strengthen our team. Chrissy and Bea have fitted in seamlessly and are already providing reliable and consistent support for our clients; they’re welcome additions to the team.

“In addition, we’re seeking a qualified Chartered Surveyor to join our development team to work on land promotions, options, sales and acquisitions.”
