Leeds Jaguar Land Rover dealership initiatives recruitment drive in response to surge in demand
Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Leeds is holding a recruitment event following a surge in demand. The dealership on Gemini Business Park, Sheepscar Way, is looking for a number of technicians, including technicians experienced in working with electric vehicles.
The dealership offers an “extensive” benefits package, including a range of stock options and an advanced maternity scheme. Moreover, the business aims to encourage staff development with additional qualifications and courses, all of which can lead to salary increases.
A recent colleague satisfaction survey found that more than 90 per cent of staff enjoyed their job and 85 per cent would recommend the company as a great place to work to others.
As part of its recruitment drive, the dealership is holding an opening evening on Wednesday February 9 from 5pm to 8pm, where those attending will be given a tour of the showroom and its facilities as well as the opportunity to meet staff.
Rik Shield, head of business said: “Our colleagues are really looking forward to showing off the dealership, service centre and ancillary facilities to potential recruits and demonstrating to them what working for Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Leeds has to offer.
“We have state-of-the-art facilities with brand new hi spec equipment including diagnostic and citnow machines.
“We are dedicated to helping our colleagues gain additional knowledge and skills and are looking for high calibre technicians who have ambitions to develop within the business.
“We also know how to have fun and often have team nights out and even a barbecue on the roof in the summer – another good reason to come along and find out what we’re all about!”
