Sitting comfortably with Harworth Group’s £10,000 donation
PATIENTS at St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield are enjoying greater levels of comfort than ever thanks to a £10,000 donation from Harworth Group.
The South Yorkshire based business, one of the leading land and property regeneration companies in the UK, made the special donation that allowed St Luke’s to update electronically adjustable chairs that are used on the charity’s In Patient Centre.
“The comfort of our patients is always of the greatest importance and this donation has given us a chance to have a major upgrade of these vital pieces of furniture,” said St Luke’s Fundraising Account Manager Matthew Sheridan.
“In our 50th anniversary year, it is good to know that we can depend on the generosity and enthusiastic support of companies like Harworth Group.”
Katie Hill, Assistant Finance Manager at Harworth Group, said: “We are delighted to make this donation to St Luke’s in its milestone 50th year.
“We hope that it will help the staff at St Luke’s to continue their amazing work in supporting patients and their families.”
