SimkissGuy Recruitment appoints regional hospitality expert

SimkissGuy Recruitment, a multi award-winning Midlands-based recruitment consultancy, has appointed Abby Goldie to head up its newly formed Hospitality Recruitment division. With extensive experience across the leisure and hospitality sector, the independent firm is set to provide its signature full-service support to new clients across the region and beyond.

Having provided ad-hoc consultancy to hospitality businesses for several years, the firm has now taken the leap to set-up a dedicated division for the sector. With Abby at the helm, the team are confident that her valuable experience will lay strong foundations for SimkissGuy to become the go-to recruitment partner within the regional hospitality scene in the coming months.

Boasting over 15 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, Abby has previously worked at the likes of Compass Group Whitbread and OPUS restaurant, alongside co-founding a successful events agency. Supporting the senior leadership team and Managing Directors, Abby will be responsible for driving the firm’s new hospitality division forwards, whilst growing its market presence.

 Co-founded in 2013 by Rebecca Simkiss and Richard Guy, SimkissGuy is an independent specialist recruitment consultancy providing bespoke solutions within the commercial office support, graduate and healthcare sectors. What’s more, Abby’s appointment follows a host of recent triumphs for the Midlands-based firm, including winning ‘Recruitment Company of the Year’ at the 2021 City of Birmingham Business Awards.

Within the last 12 months alone, the firm has also celebrated several other recent appointments; including Helena King being promoted to Business Operations Manager and Sarah Barnsley joining as a Senior Relationship Manager within its Business and Commercial Support division.
