This week’s round up of London appointments includes OnePlanetCapital, Ringley Group, and Leathwaite. Read on to find out more.

Anthony Chant - OnePlanetCapital

OnePlanetCapital, the climate change focused early stage venture capital fund, has appointed Anthony Chant as investment director. Anthony will lead investment decisions for the company’s flagship EIS fund, targeting companies and projects that will genuinely benefit the environmental prospects of the UK and the wider planet.

Anthony has 20 years of experience managing businesses in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on business services and the environment. Anthony has served in a variety of leadership positions, including CEO, COO, and FD and throughout his career has completed over 50 investments and acquisitions.

Prior to joining OnePlanetCapital, Anthony was the CEO at SGI Compliance, a risk and compliance leader in the UK and Europe. Previous to that, he was co-founder of Edif group, a global technical consultancy that went on to exit at over £125m generating revenues in excess of £75m and employing over 600 people internationally.

Clive Greenwood - Ringley Group

Asset and property management operator Ringley Group has appointed Clive Greenwood as head of asset management, a newly-created role in the business.

Clive has over 30 years’ of experience in asset and property management. He most recently held the role of asset manager at accountancy firm Thomas St John Group. Prior to that, he worked at HML Group for five years in various roles including director and head of property management and spent 13 years at FirstPort.

In his new role at Ringley Group, Clive will be responsible for looking after the property management division of the company from its offices in Cardiff, Manchester and London. In total, Ringley Group currently has over 12,700 properties under management in Cardiff, Manchester and London combined.

Clive Greenwood, head of asset management at Ringley, commented: “Ringley Group is extremely well known in the UK’s property sector, both jn leasehold and having filled gaps in many funds asset management teams so it’s an absolute privilege to join the company to bolster its asset management capabilities.

“With my wealth of knowledge and experience in asset and property management, I will be responsible for looking after the property management division and supporting its growth in the coming years.”

Chris Smith - Leathwaite

Leathwaite has welcomed Chris Smith. Based in London, Chris will co-lead Leathwaite’s global HR practice, while also steering and accelerating the firm’s strategy of ongoing diversification outside its core markets of financial & professional services.

Chris brings extensive global search and advisory experience across HR, Human Capital, and the Corporate Officers landscape, with a proven track record garnered in both leading global top-tier and boutique executive search and consulting firms.

With human capital at the forefront of corporate strategy, never more so than in response to the global pandemic, Chris will continue to be a key partner to business leaders and CHROs seeking to ensure they have the very best talent at the top of their organisations.
