Belmayne urges local firms to support charity ball
Dronfield independent financial planners, Belmayne, are appealing to local businesses for help to boost the proceeds raised at their forthcoming charity ball.
The firm is looking for prizes it can auction or raffle off for its four chosen charities and would like to hear from anyone wanting to sponsor a table at its black-tie event.
The Belmayne Foundation ball will be held at Sheffield’s Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria on Saturday, May 14 to benefit its charities of the year, which are: Derbyshire Asbestos Support Team, Disability Awareness with Sport, Sheffield Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and Sight Support Derbyshire.
Prizes already donated for raffle or auction include tickets to see England v New Zealand at Twickenham, a spa day for two, an overnight stay in a top Sheffield hotel, movie memorabilia and signed shirts from both of the city’s football teams. As the event is fully funded by Belmayne, all money raised from ticket sales and activities on the night will directly benefit the charities.
Ben Smalley, a partner at Belmayne, said: “We have received an excellent response to this year’s ball, with 160 people already committed to coming. Now we want to make sure we raise as much money as possible. We would love to hear from anyone who could donate a prize or sponsor a guest table and promote their business to help us make a real difference to four amazing organisations who work so hard for local people.”
Tickets are still available for Belmayne’s charity ball at £50 a head, which includes a three-course meal and a bottle of wine per couple. Entertainment on the night will be provided by renowned local singer, Stephen Bayliss. Table sponsorship is priced at £100.
