European property firm launches first London project
A major european real estate business has announced the launch of its first London project.
Ghelamco’s first London asset, The Arc in London’s EC1, is a 22-storey mixed-use hub. Fusing Art Moderne architecture with a focus on light and space, The Arc comprises of 148,048 sq ft (net), 168,762 sq ft (gross) of office, retail and amenity space.
The 7-storey red-brick podium boasts a sustainable and SMART enabled design with features such as an App allowing contactless entry, and the implementation of sensor technology, ranging from presence detection for light control, and air quality.
The Arc is fully electric boasting carbon emissions 30 per cent lower than its multi-fuel-operated competitors; with triple certifications including BREEAM, WELL Gold, alongside being the first UK development to be DGNB gold certified.
Pioneers and market leaders in sustainable developments, Ghelamco’s holistic approach towards sustainability is “one-of-a-kind”.
