PCI Pal unveiled as 21st best-performing tech scale-up at Megabuyte Emerging Stars awards
Global provider of cloud-based secure payment solutions, PCI Pal, has been announced as the one of the best-performing UK tech scale-up companies, ranked 21st, at the annual Megabuyte Emerging Stars awards.
The awards identify the UK’s best-performing scale-up technology companies, as defined by a Megabuyte Scorecard rating.
They are part of the annual Megabuyte100 award series, which collectively identifies the UK’s 100 best-performing technology companies and includes the Megabuyte50 awards (privately-owned technology companies) and the Megabuyte Quoted25 awards (quoted technology companies), alongside the Megabuyte Emerging Stars awards (which includes both private and public companies). PCI Pal was also the second highest ranked public technology company on the list.
The announcement was made at the annual Megabuyte Emerging Stars awards event, held in London, sponsored by NatWest and Grant Thornton.
James Barham, CEO of PCI Pal said, “To be unveiled as a new entrant into the Megabuyte Emerging Stars programme is a real honour. We have been ranked 21st in the best-performing UK tech scale-up companies, and I would like to thank the entire PCI Pal team across all territories for their hard work and commitment that has enabled us to receive this external recognition.
“The Megabuyte Scorecard assesses a range of factors, including growth, profitability and size, and this ranking validates our strong performance over the past 12-24 months, as well as the huge potential we are working towards with this fast-growing business.”
The Megabuyte awards are differentiated by the rigour of the methodology used to assess companies’ performance. Termed the Megabuyte Scorecard, the proprietary benchmarking methodology is widely recognised as the sector’s most independent measure of comparative peer performance and is an influential reference among corporate, advisory and financial communities.
