Barratt Developments launches three new sites in three weeks
Five-star housebuilder Barratt Developments, which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, is launching an astonishing three new developments over a short three-week period, delivering 585 new homes and supporting over 1,000 jobs region-wide.
A total of over £1.4m will be invested into local communities in Boroughbridge, Whitby and Cayton to support regional infrastructure including education, outdoor sports facilities, travel and footway contributions. The new developments include Harclay Park in Boroughbridge, Abbey View in Whitby and St John’s View in Cayton.
The much-welcomed establishment of the three new sites will help address a region-wide housing shortage and create over 1,000 employment opportunities across a number of disciplines, delivering a gross value added of over £31.1m in direct employment to the local economy across the region. The new developments will offer a range of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes in semi-detached and detached styles to suit first time buyers and families alike.
