Yorkshire business group brings together tech community at spring event
A Yorkshire business group is to bring together the tech community at a sponsored event later this month.
Silicon Yorkshire, is encouraging professionals from across the tech and digital sectors to attend its free spring event, sponsored by KnowSomeone, iSource Group, Hippo Digital and Snowflake.
Taking place on Wednesday 23 March at Chaophraya in Leeds from 5.30pm to midnight, the event will be an opportunity for professionals to ignite conversation, boost networks, connect businesses, accelerate start-ups and unlock value.
With more people now meeting for work events as all restrictions are lifted, it is hoped that it will attract hundreds of registered guests.
Geoff Shepherd, founding director of Silicon Yorkshire, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank KnowSomeone, the digital recruitment tech disruptor, for sponsoring the event. It is only through this support that we can host these drinks evenings.
“It’s really encouraging to be arranging events again and bringing people together. While there is huge value in online connectivity, to build trusted relationships we need the opportunity to meet in person too.
“We hope that lots of people will take the time to come along and to extend their networks with others from the digital and tech sectors.”
