SAKKU launch Leeds’ Newest Bottomless Brunch Event
Six months on from their launch, relative new kid on the block, Japanese sushi and Pan Asian grill restaurant, SAKKU, are launching their own bottomless brunch.
The event, which is set to be a one time offering, will be held on the afternoon of the 2nd of April at their restaurant on St Peter’s Square.
With popular Leeds house DJ’s on the deck and bottomless drinks flowing, it’s set to be an event to remember.
SAKKU has made a name for itself on the Leeds restaurant scene and has recently been nominated as ‘Best Newcomer’ in this year’s Oliver Awards. Though the restaurant is relatively new to the city, the team behind it also brought popular restaurants Estabulo and Fleur to Leeds.
On the philosophy behind SAKKU, the team said, “ The pandemic saw us all surrounded by the same four walls for months on end. We knew that, when hospitality returned, customers would be looking for a more immersive, experiential dining experience. We wanted to create a sort of safe haven to offer some escapism from what was going on in the world.“
And that’s exactly what they did. Tucked slightly away from the centre of the city, SAKKU sees itself as offering a tranquilly beautiful and exclusive dining experience.
On joining the long list of restaurants in Leeds who offer Bottomless Brunch, they said, “From the get go, it was always our intention to offer this. But like everything we do at SAKKU, we want this to be more experiential for our customers, which is why this is a one off event with entertainment. I’m really looking forward to seeing our vision come to life.”
For £28.95pp, those who attend on the 2nd of April can expect four small plates, from a choice of fresh sushi which will be prepared at the front of the restaurant and varied Japanese grill dishes as well as unlimited prosecco, SAKKU draught beer or selected cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks.
This new event is set to be welcomed with open arms by the people of Leeds, those who wish to attend can book their table online.
