Chester Apprentice, Taylor Morris, makes Insider Media's Young Apprentice of the Year 2022 shortlist
Taylor Morris, Digital Content Marketing Apprentice at leading marketing agency, Entyce Creative, has been shortlisted for Insider Media’s Young Apprentice of the Year 2022. The annual award is open to young apprentices in any sector, from businesses all over the North West, and he beat off fierce competition to become one of the shortlisted candidates.
Feeling that university wasn’t the route for him and wanting to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, Taylor applied for Entyce’s apprenticeship opportunity through The Juice Academy, the UK’s first ever industry-led social media apprenticeship, in September 2021. He says:
“I always had an interest in digital marketing so when I finished sixth form, rather than going to university, I knew I wanted to learn more. I felt at home at Entyce straight away and I’m loving the being able to gain hands-on experience in all the different areas, from social media to design. I’m really grateful to Entyce for the opportunity and I’m thrilled to be shortlisted for this award!”
Taylor was nominated by Founder and Director of Entyce, Jane Entwistle. Jane says:
“Since Taylor joined us, we have seen his confidence and knowledge grow at a rapid pace. It is the first time we have had an apprentice in our team, and it has been a positive and rewarding experience. He’s already an important part of the team and we are really excited to see where his career will go”.
The winner will be announced at a live awards ceremony on April 21st at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
