Top Liverpool attraction sees 200% surge in bookings after starring role in The Batman

The Royal Liver Building is the most iconic landmark in Liverpool, but it was recently transformed into the Gotham City Police Department in blockbuster superhero flick The Batman.

As a result, world-class attraction RLB360 has seen a significant increase in bookings since the film was released two weeks ago on March 4.

Fans are coming from all over the world to stand in the same spot as the caped crusader on top of the historic building.

RLB360, which was once again named as the Liverpool City Region Small Visitor Attraction of the Year at the Tourism Awards, is a stunning tourist hotspot that includes a state-of-the-art digital projection show inside the historic clock tower plus an incredible outdoor 360 degree view of the city and beyond.

RLB360 operations manager Chris Devaney said: “It was a great privilege to have The Batman filmed here. The building is such a big part of Liverpool’s identity, and to see it appear along with other Liverpool locations on the big screen is great for the city.

“We have experienced a huge increase in tour sales compared to our normal numbers for comparative months.

“Our attraction really is a great opportunity for Batman fans to feel like their favourite superhero.”

The Royal Liver Building appears alongside places like St George’s Hall amongst others in the film, and is likely to return in future outings for Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight, as it has become the headquarters for the styled Gotham City Police Department .

RLB360 was also recently voted the most remarkable attraction in the UK by Tiqets, and was in the running against places like the Vatican for the award of most remarkable attraction in the world.
