Leeds regeneration consultancy secures £190m government funding to transform town centres
A Leeds-headquartered property regeneration consultancy has secured more than £190m from government funds for local authority clients to transform town centres.
AspinallVerdi, founded in 2009, provides advice and deliverable solutions to the most difficult regeneration, development and planning challenges.
With offices in London, Liverpool, Birmingham and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the consultancy has worked alongside multi-disciplinary partner organisations and council teams to support successful applications for areas nationwide.
Consultants for the company acted on behalf of local authorities seeking funding for mixed-use regeneration schemes from Whitehall funding programmes such as the Towns Fund and Future High Streets Fund.
AspinallVerdi is also supporting public sector clients with applications for finance from round two of the Government’s Levelling Up fund.
Ben Aspinall, managing director of AspinallVerdi, said: “As we return to pre-pandemic levels of activity, we continue to apply our knowledge and expertise to support the ‘levelling up’ of the UK economy by making regeneration happen in towns and cities nationwide.
“Acting on behalf of a wide range of our valued local authority clients, we helped them to secure more than £320m from Government funding programmes to transform their town centres with major mixed-use sustainable communities designed for a post-pandemic world.”
