Local lad Mike Weedon expands Financial Planning firm Wealth of Advice into South Tyneside
Local lad Mike Weedon opens new financial planning office in South Tyneside, with the aim of working hard for those who have worked hard.
Financial planning firm Wealth of Advice have broadened their scope to South Tyneside by opening a new office at One Trinity Green, South Shields.
Having an already established office in County Durham, the retirement specialists have grown their client and staff numbers allowing expansion to stretch their scope further across the North East.
With over 650 clients, they’ve already helped many of them retire earlier and happier than expected, with their ethos of working hard for those who’ve worked hard.
South Shields-based Weedon will be the head of their new office, and has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years.
Weedon said: “As someone who lives in South Shields, I’ve always wanted to be able to make a difference in my local borough. I think the people of South Tyneside could benefit from clear financial guidance with a no-nonsense attitude, whether that be with retirement planning or investing. I know the area is full of people who work hard for their money, and I’d love nothing more than to make their money work as hard as they do.”
Chris Breward, the founder of Wealth of Advice, said the first priority of their team was to help working-class people achieve their financial goals, and “expanding to South Tyneside seems like the perfect way to do that.”
The company also offers free resources on their website, to help the everyday person get a head start on their retirement planning.
“A lot of people hit their 50s and aren’t really sure what their options are for retirement,” said founder Breward, “and we want to change that – that’s why we’ve put so much time and energy into creating these guides which are available to anyone who wants to know more about their options and start planning early for their retirement.”
