Hospitality jobs fair launches in Liverpool with over 200 vacancies available
Jobcentre Plus and members of Liverpool Hospitality have come together to organise a recruitment day.
There are hundreds of jobs available at the event taking place on Wednesday, May 4 at Mason’s Hotel on Seel Street.
With a record number of vacancies open across the sector and many businesses experiencing challenges filling these positions, Jobcentre Plus initially reached out to Paul Askew from The Art School fine-dining restaurant to ask members of Liverpool Hospitality to take part in a jobs fair and the response has reportedly been “fantastic”.
Paul said: “This event is really going to help fill some critical roles in hospitality across the city, and it’s great to see some of the leading names coming together with all of these brilliant positions. Hospitality is a wonderful career choice and it can be a lifelong path.
“At The Art School and across Liverpool there are many amazing opportunities to embark on a career in the sector and be part of something special. For me, Liverpool really is the UK’s hospitality city and we hope to see anyone looking for work like this to come to the jobs fair on Wednesday.” Paul will also be speaking at the event.
There will be over 200 vacancies available from a range of companies including: Marriott, Crowne Plaza, Titanic Hotel, EPIC, Holiday Inn, Louvre Hotels, Pulman, Hard Day’s Night, The Sir Thomas, Novotel, Maray, The Art School, Zizzi, Wagamama and The One O’Clock Gun.
