Bradford SME named Patron for Upcoming Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album
On the 2nd June, The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee events will commence with a special four day UK bank holiday weekend. Her Majesty the Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service.
Machinery supplier, Advanced Dynamics have been selected as a company featured in Her Majesty The Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album, as the business was found through its association with the Armed Forces Covenant, linked to the charity SSAFA and their ‘lifelong support for our armed forces and their families’.
Malcolm Little, Executive Chairman at Advanced Dynamics speaks about the importance of the launch event for Advanced Dynamics and how excited they are to be able to represent the business in this environment.
“It’s going to be quite surreal, to be honest. We are an SME from Bradford. We’re not a business that is renowned nationally. To be involved in something like that, I think it’s something that myself and Tom will enjoy a great deal and it will fill us with enormous pride to be able to represent Advanced Dynamics.
“If you look at Bradford against the rest of the country, sure, it’s not the wealthiest of cities, but from where it was when the Queen first sat on the throne to where it is now, people’s quality of life has, and continues to improve dramatically.
The Jubilee is being embraced by the company with a range of events and activities for the business planned.
Malcom concluded, “We’re hosting a family-fun day and we haven’t called it as such because our colleagues can bring their families along - they can - but more because I see them as my family. We hosted something similar a few years ago for the company’s 20th anniversary and it was a great day. It’s a hell of an excuse for a good day’s party.”
