Guy Opperman MP, Minister for Pensions and Financial inclusion, said: “I was delighted to visit Anesco and meet with the team to hear of ways they are contributing to getting us to net zero. As Pensions Minister, I continue to encourage pension schemes to invest in the businesses of the future.”
Laura Farris MP said: “Anesco is one of the most exciting enterprises in West Berkshire when it comes to solar and renewable energy. Last week I was joined by the Pensions Minister Guy Opperman on a visit to meet the team where we discussed their work, the future of the sector and the role of pension fund investment in our long-term effort to reach net zero.”
Mark Futyan, Anesco CEO, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Laura and Guy to Anesco headquarters and to discuss the net zero challenge and the role that Anesco plays in making it happen. We are proud of our track record in renewable energy development and look forward to working alongside government and with local communities on our pipeline of new projects.”
