Space NK launches new larger Covent Garden store
The Mercers’ Company has announced that Space NK, the worldwide retailer for luxury cosmetics, has opened its brand new, two-storey location at 3 Neal Street, Covent Garden.
Spanning 2,000 sq ft, the significantly upsized store, which is a relocation within the landlord’s estate, is the brand’s first ever two floor space, offering a curated selection of the world’s most in-demand and popular beauty brands. With a strong assortment of retailers such as Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez and Rose Inc by Rosie Huntington-Whitley, the new larger store provides an even bigger floorspace for its beauty offering, with a basement level extending its portfolio of products.
Charlie Evans, Head of Retail at Space NK, commented: “We are excited to be re-opening our much-loved Covent Garden store again in a brand-new location, and welcome back our dedicated consumer base. This double level location offers a bespoke experience, aiding customers in their search for boundary-pushing beauty and skincare products and we are looking forward to continuing our success here since opening our doors in 1991.”
Simon Taylor, Property Director at the Mercers’ Company, added: “Space NK’s new two-storey location is an exciting addition to our portfolio, and we are delighted to manage the company’s expansion within our estate. Covent Garden continues to thrive, and as one of the most popular shopping destinations in Europe, it’s exciting to open yet another fantastic retail experience for Londoners and beyond.”
Space NK’s opening at 3 Neal Street, Covent Garden, follows the recent Unidays research which ranked the destination Covent Garden as the most popular shopping street in Europe[1], as well as the news that Diageo, maker of Guinness, has selected The Yards, Covent Garden as a potential home to ‘Guinness at Old Brewer’s Yard’, a £73million investment set to open in Autumn 2023*.
