Sports and entertainment sponsorship specialist signs “first of its kind” deal with Dentsu
Entourage Sport & Entertainment has entered into a partnership with Dentsu, the global media group, that will see the UK based sponsorship and talent agency handle commercial rights for Dentsu’s global inventory of events.
In a “first of its kind” deal, Entourage will kick off by focusing on upcoming global sporting showdowns such as the Copa America before transcending across the other Dentsu portfolio of leading worldwide events to secure long term commercial opportunities with brands and also manage their activation.
Entourage is a globally operating specialist in the negotiation of sport and entertainment sponsorship, talent management and partnership management.
With a reputation for a “personal service”, the agency is said to have an “excellent track record” in repeatedly delivering partnerships for household brand names that deliver against marketing objectives in the “cluttered” sport and entertainment landscape.
Previous brand and sponsorship opportunities have included work with Heineken, Emirates Airlines, Konami, FTX and Visa as well as leading rights holders FIFA, UEFA, Inter Milan and SL Benfica.
Mark Cowan, CEO of Entourage Sport & Entertainment said: “We are honoured to be working with the Dentsu Inc team across various rights and look forward to building a successful collaboration.
“Properties like Copa America are a natural fit for us, having several years of expertise in the local market and with international tournaments. Aligning Entourage with Dentsu, is a big statement of intent for what we are planning to achieve across the global sporting landscape and we look forward to working with the team.”
