Soho technology specialist lands IT contract with "unrivalled" Glasgow retail and leisure centre
London based technology solutions provider, ITVET Ltd, has announced that it has been chosen to provide IT services to Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow.
Buchanan Galleries, owned by property development and investment company Landsec and managed by Savills, has over 80 retailers spread across 585,000 sq ft. Through this partnership, ITVET will provide Buchanan Galleries with complete IT support.
The company will be the first point of contact for any IT issues as well as providing email services, cloud data storage, and hardware.
As part of the migration process, a dedicated onboarding team was assembled to interact with the shopping centre. This is said to have played a “crucial role” to help ensure a smooth migration with minimal disruption to business operations.
Kathy Murdoch, centre manager at Buchanan Galleries, said: “We recently migrated our IT services to ITVET and overall, we’ve been really impressed.
“The onboarding team were meticulous, approachable, understanding, and patient. Kudos to the team, especially our account manager who made the journey to visit the site to introduce himself and to get to know the team better.”
Richard Fountain, CEO at ITVET Ltd, added: “We already provide IT support to a number of properties managed by Savills Property Management. We’re delighted to welcome another prestigious shopping centre into our valued client base.
“Buchanan Galleries represents a successful retail business that provides an unrivalled consumer experience in the buzzing heart of Glasgow.
“Operating in such a competitive, fast-paced industry, we know that ITVET is the right choice to help Buchanan Galleries achieve higher efficiency in business operations and continue to grow. We look forward to working closely with Savills portfolio in the future.”
