Print and marketing agency enhances creative services with acquisition
Datum Creative Media, a print and marketing agency based in Cuffley (Hertfordshire), has announced the acquisition of design business Barley Agency to produce more efficient work for its clients’ marketing needs and campaigns.
Barley, also based in Hertfordshire, will help Datum offer a wider range of creative services and grow both digital and print-management capabilities. After an initial conversation to discuss a potential acquisition, the deal was swiftly wrapped up in the space of a few weeks, showing that the move is a perfect fit for both businesses.
Scott Pearce, managing partner at Datum Creative Media, said, “we are delighted to announce that Barley Agency has joined the Datum family. We have known the company for over 20 years now, and we are confident that Barley’s talented developers and designers will play a significant role in driving our business forwards.”
The new, expanded team will provide customers with a number of different on-site studio services. The creative and digital offerings include branding, design, animation, CGI, and website UI/UX.
“Ultimately, this is an exciting new chapter for Datum,” Pearce added. “We have taken on board all employees from Barley. Their experience will enable us to offer an array of creative marketing services to our clients.
“We are also excited to be sharing our studio at Sópers House in Cuffley. It’s going to allow us to work collaboratively, both with colleagues and clients.”
With a team of experienced professionals, Datum Creative Media has supported its clients’ marketing plans and campaigns for over thirty years. It began as a pre-press company and has now grown to become a complete cross-media production house with an extensive range of creative services.
