Hotel launching second year of partnership with Edgbaston Stadium

The start of England’s eagerly-awaited Test match against India at Edgbaston Stadium on will launch the second year of Warwickshire County Cricket Club’s partnership with a four-star Birmingham hotel.

The re-arranged fifth LV= Insurance Men’s Test Match in the series against India, which was originally scheduled to be played in September 2021, will decide the series and follows on from England’s thrilling matches against New Zealand in the last few weeks.

Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, which is located only a five minutes’ drive from the ground in Edgbaston Park Road, will also be involved in promotions ahead of the IT20 between England and India on July 9 and T20 Blast Finals Day on July 16.

As part of the ongoing partnership, the hotel will also become Gold Members of the Bears Business Club which will give employees of the Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, the opportunity to network at certain events, while using the Warwickshire CCC Golf Day and Player Awards Dinner to host clients and staff, as well as attending high-profile events.

Ben Seifas, Head of Sales and Partnerships at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, said: “The first year of the partnership has gone really well and we are delighted to have secured our partnership with Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre for a second year.

“This year will be focused on developing their digital adventure with us even further. We want to give our ticket purchasers the best possible information for their visit to Edgbaston Stadium and when we send out our information a few days beforehand we highlight the activities going on at the ground, where they can stay and travel information.

“Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre will be an integral part of this by promoting their accommodation offers as well as their restaurant so we will be enhancing the customer experience for those coming to the ground to watch high-profile cricket.”
