Newcastle tech consultancy opens fourth city hub in Edinburgh as it targets new opportunities

A Newcastle-headquartered tech consultancy has opened its fourth city hub in Edinburgh as it targets new client opportunities.

Opencast, one of the UK’s fastest-growing technology consultancies, has opened the new hub in response to a rise in the number of its people working close to the city, and the new client opportunities that the Scottish capital offers.

Edinburgh is a UK-leading hub for sectors including fintech and B2B-focused startups. The city is also home to over 3000 UK civil servants covering 11 government departments, as well as to the Scottish government.

Opencast, delivers digital consultancy and services for clients in the heart of government, global finance, and growth enterprise. It delivers a range of services across software, digital and technical delivery, user-centred design, and platform engineering. Employees work remotely and across its four locations in Newcastle, Leeds, London, and now Edinburgh.

To mark the opening of its Edinburgh hub, Opencast will host an ‘open house’ networking evening reception on the 6th July at the office in Lochrin Square, bringing together people from the Edinburgh tech community with the Opencast team.
