Ted Baker opens a new store at centre:mk
Ted Baker, the global lifestyle brand, has opened a new store at centre:mk Milton Keynes, one of the top 10 retail destinations in the UK. The new 2,150 sq ft store is located on Silbury Arcade and stocks Ted Baker’s full range of womenswear, menswear and accessories, celebrating British fashion with a focus on the finer details.
Taking inspiration from Ted Baker’s recognisable prints and designs, the new centre:mk store features a bespoke floral wall mural and sustainable materials are utilised offering innovative design solutions to product displays.
The brand’s centre:mk location complements Ted Baker’s strong international portfolio spanning the UK, USA, Middle East, and Asia. Founded in 1988 in Glasgow, Ted Baker’s irreverent identity has continued to exuberate relaxed sophistication, with its collections ranging from occasion wear to everyday essentials.
The brand joins many other reputable luxury retailers at centre:mk, such as Jigsaw, Beaverbrooks’ Loupe, The White Company and Rituals, and is situated within close proximity of Harrods H Beauty, which recently celebrated its first birthday at the centre. This curation of high-quality brands complements the varying needs of centre:mk’s guests, 71% of which sit in the top eight Mosaic demographic groups, well above the UK national benchmark of 56%, with 86% of the total footfall converting to spend.
Kevin Duffy, centre:mk’s Centre Director, commented: “We are very pleased to see Ted Baker open at centre:mk, further strengthening our diverse fashion offering. The brand’s commitment to delivering great guest experiences is a perfect match to our own internationally award-winning guest services. The addition of Ted Baker to the centre is a great complement to our roster of reputable fashion retailers, which we are constantly evolving in line with our guests’ demands.”
The opening of the Ted Baker store follows the successful launch of SmileDirectClub last month at centre:mk. The new 600 sq ft state-of-the-art clinic joins leading selfcare brands Laser Clinics and Cavendish Clinic (within John Lewis), and marks a South East regional debut for SmileDirectClub, providing high quality dental alignment treatment to a new audience.
