Luxury Warwickshire hotel expands with exclusive outdoor event space

A boutique Warwickshire hotel has signed a new partnership with a former West End star to coincide with the launch of a new outdoor event space.

Hidden away within 10 acres of stunning landscaped gardens, The Pavilion at Mallory Court Country House Hotel and Spa near Leamington Spa, can seat up to 15 or host up to 20 standing guests for a drinks reception.

The 43-bedroom four-star hotel has also formed a new partnership with a top UK events production company based in Warwickshire which creates bespoke entertainment for celebrities, VIP clients and attractions including Warwick Castle and Formula 1.

PS Events in Stratford-upon-Avon founded by CEO and creative director Lucy Nicholls, a former West End and Broadway performer, also specialises in transforming spaces. The company can be booked by guests to provide professional set dressing to suit any occasion held in the luxury pavilion. Lucy said: “We are beyond thrilled to be working with the Eden Hotel Collection. We both share an incredibly high expectation of customer experience always being at the core of everything.

“We can work with clients to come up with a design to transform The Pavilion, which is a beautiful new outdoor events space, and set the stage for any celebration whether it is an intimate wedding, birthday party, baby shower or anniversary.

“Until 16 years ago I was performing in the fabulous world of the West End and Broadway but started to feel creatively stumped. So, I began creating bespoke entertainment, I’d come off stage, rally some West End colleagues and started performing at private parties. “This evolved into creating bespoke immersive experiences with some of the best artists, DJs and performers from West End shows and Cirque du Soleil for a very select elite and celebrity clientele. I’d found my passion and we now have an exquisite bespoke events production company.

“We specialise in the transformation of spaces, styling events and entertainment. Our in-house workshop and studios allow us to give the most bespoke touch to all elements. “We now produce events across the UK and globally, including the F1’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Warwick Castles large evening events, private parties, corporate events, weddings and most recently have been chosen to be the provider for the Qatar World Cup.”

The Pavilion is in a picture-perfect location at the rear of the imposing Lutyens-style hotel set surrounded by trees, greenery and flowers overlooking a pristine lawn. Dining options range from intimate dining to afternoon teas and seasonal menus served from its national award-winning kitchen, which has 3AA Rosettes and renowned chef Simon Haigh as director.

Nick Hanson, general manager, said: “We felt The Pavilion would enhance the options our guests have for weddings, events and private dining at Mallory Court. Being outdoors tucked away in a secret hideaway in the privacy of our glorious grounds adds an element of exclusivity and excitement!

“It is the perfect setting for an intimate proposal or a wedding. A wedding breakfast for 150 people could be held in a marquee on the lawn or for 60 inside the hotel. Guests could be seated either side of the central pathway outside The Pavilion as the wedding couple exchange their vows inside.

“We can offer a drinks reception with nibbles and canapes, afternoon tea parties, private casual dining for up to 16 guests or a barbecue.”

A similar garden room called The Hide has also opened at The Greenway Hotel and Spa in Shurdington, Cheltenham - one of its sister hotels within the Eden Hotel Collection. Room hire for The Pavilion starts at £100.
