Award-winning Coventry hotel makes a splash worldwide

An award-winning West Midlands hotel has proven to be a smash hit with visitors from abroad in its first year of opening, welcoming people from all corners of the globe.

The Telegraph Hotel, situated in Coventry city centre, opened for bookings in May 2021 and has since had guests from 33 different countries stay overnight, with a host of international reviews received to boot.

Outside of the British Isles, the Corporation Street based hotel has been a popular booking option with businesspeople, families and sightseers from Germany, Ireland, India and the USA.

Its four-star status, sophisticated mid-century style and slick 1950s theme has struck a chord with hospitality lovers the world over.

Amy Windsor, general manager of the Telegraph Hotel, said: “It’s great to see that visitors are enjoying the Telegraph Hotel experience. From Bahrain to China and the USA to Australia, people from all over the world are coming to stay at our hotel, which offers a unique stay for both business and pleasure.

“We’re pleased to be the go-to option for those who want to have the opportunity to relax and unwind in a comfortable environment or conduct business right in the very heart of the bustling city centre.

“As a luxury hotel, we provide a range of amenities and services for our guests. Our all-day cocktail bar and restaurant dining experience Forme & Chase, Generators outdoor rooftop bar with unique views over Belgrade Plaza, versatile function rooms and individually designed air-conditioned bedrooms cater for all.

“Coventry is in a great place again, thanks in part to the amazing run we’ve had as UK City of Culture, and we’re looking ahead with excitement to welcoming both new and returning guests from all over the world.”

The Telegraph Hotel has 88 individually designed air-conditioned bedrooms available to prospective guests, including a penthouse suite with its own private terrace & hot tub - all of which are operated by Bespoke Hotels, the largest independent hotel company in the UK.

The hotel, which has recently been crowned winner of Liberty Best Boutique Hotel at the Blue Badge Access Awards, was created by Complex Development Projects from the then-unused former Coventry Telegraph offices as part of a two-year, £20 million investment programme.
